Effective homemade face masks – Recipes
1. Honey Masks for Mature Skin
- 1 egg yolk,
- 1 teaspoon of glycerine,
- 1 teaspoon of honey.
Mix the ingredients and apply the pulp to cleansed face skin. Rinse with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.
2. Honey & Olive Oil Mask for Fatigued and Elasticity-Deprived Face Skin
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil,
- 1 spoon of honey,
- 1 egg yolk.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply the mask to your face. Rinse with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.
3. Apple Mask for Rough, Dull and Elasticity Losing Face Skin
- 1 spoon of honey,
- 1 apple.
Peel the apple and grate it using the finest holes. Mix it with honey. Apply the pulp to your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Mind you, this face mask has to be applied at least twice a week to notice improvements in your face skin condition.
4. Almond & Lemon Mask for Oily Face Skin
- 1 spoon of honey,
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice,
- 2 teaspoons of ground almonds.

5. Oatmeal Mask for Oily and Acne-Prone Face Skin (Cleansing Features)
- 1 teaspoon of honey,
- 1 egg yolk,
- 1 teaspoon of oatmeal.
Combine all ingredients. Cream the egg yolk delicately with the remaining ingredients. Apply the pulp to your face and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes. If your face is exceptionally oily or affected by acne, you can apply this mask every day (best if put on at bedtime).
6. Cream & Honey Mask for Dry Face Skin
- 2 spoons of fat cream,
- 2 spoons of honey,
- 2 egg yolks.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply to your face. Let it sit for 10 minutes, or if your face is exceptionally dry, let it sit 20 minutes. Then, rinse the face mask using lukewarm water. Keep applying the face mask at least once a week.
7. Cleansing Mask for All Skin Types
- a half of an apple
- 1 egg white
Beat up the egg white until a stiff foam contained. Add apple grated on fine holes. Mix both ingredients. Apply to your face and rinse after 15 minutes.
8. Highlighting and Evening-Up Face Mask
- a half of a cucumber,
- a teaspoon of lemon juice,
- 1 spoon of natural yoghurt.
Grate cucumber using fine holes and mix with the remaining ingredients. Apply to your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. You can use the face mask twice a week or even more often.
9. Cottage Cheese Mask for Dry and Mature Face Skin
- 100g of fat cottage cheese,
- 1 teaspoon of warm, yet not hot, honey,
- 1 egg yolk.
Combine all the ingredients thoroughly and apply the mask to your face. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. This face mask can be applied every day – lecithin that egg yolk contains is a strong anti-oxidant and fat cottage cheese is perfect at replenishing skin with water.
10. Moisturising and Skin-Evening Turmeric Face Mask
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric,
- 1 teaspoon of a high quality honey,
- 1 teaspoon of natural yoghurt.
Put the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Apply the mask and wait until it gets dry on your face. Rinse precisely using lukewarm water.
